Privacy Policy

100% Client-Side & Private by Design

Your PDF documents never leave your computer or device. All extraction, mathematical parsing, and LaTeX generation happen directly inside your web browser using local WebAssembly and JavaScript engines. We do not transmit, read, or store your documents on any server.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Unlike cloud conversion tools, PDF to LaTeX AI does not upload your files. When you select or drag-and-drop a PDF file into our application:

  • Your PDF files are processed strictly in local browser memory.
  • Files are not sent to any external server, third-party cloud API, or remote storage.
  • Once you close or refresh the browser tab, all temporary memory allocations are wiped clean.

2. Analytics & Performance Data

To maintain uptime and understand site usage trends, we may collect anonymous, aggregated technical metrics such as:

  • Browser type and approximate device category (mobile, desktop, tablet).
  • Referring websites and general navigation events.
  • Anonymized performance counters (such as page load speeds and JavaScript runtime error diagnostics).

This diagnostic telemetry contains no personally identifiable information (PII) and is completely decoupled from any document content or conversion output.

3. Local Storage and Cookies

We use browser localStorage strictly for functional website preferences:

  • Saving your chosen visual theme (Dark mode or Light mode).
  • We do not employ cross-site tracking cookies, persistent advertising identifiers, or behavioral profiling mechanisms.

4. Third-Party Services

We may load static font assets (e.g. Google Fonts) and standard CDN bundles to provide fast asset delivery. These providers may receive your browser's standard HTTP request headers (such as IP address and User-Agent) solely for delivering these static assets in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

5. Updates to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our tool or applicable laws. Any modifications will be posted directly on this page with an updated revision date.
